Children's Book Characters (The Lamb of Life- Yesu) YESU: ( Swahili name ) For Jesus " Savior, God is my salvation" Yesu the protagonist of the picture book 'The Lamb of Life' is a kind and loving lamb who did everything he could to show uncomparable compassion and love towards others. Yesu lives on the farm with the other farm animals. Yesu is the definition of love and service. Every year on the farm the farmer would choose one animal for the family to eat for Christmas dinner, and this year would be very different from the others because this loving brave lamb would sacrifice his life to save that of his friends and even his enemies.
